It’s time to clean out those wish lists, thanks to TPT’s awesome Cyber Smile Sale on Monday AND Tuesday! Today, I’m linking up with Jen from Teaching in the Tongass to share the top three wishlisted items in my TPT store…
My top wishlisted item is also one of my best sellers… Word Work for Big Kids: Vocabulary Activities. When I first started implementing Daily 5 in my classroom, I had so much trouble locating word work activities that were challenging enough for my 5th graders, especially since I wanted to focus more on word meanings than spelling patterns. I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I set out to create a set of word work activities that would be fun, engaging, and challenging. I also wanted to be sure they were as close to zero prep as possible, without just being worksheets. My students have loved these activities, and I hope yours will too! (Also available in French!)
Another of my best selling resources… This editable Substitute Information Flipbook has been a lifesaver in my own classroom when I have an unexpected absence or find out at the last minute that I need to attend a training tomorrow. I often found that my big, bulky sub binder sat untouched, probably because it was too overwhelming for a hurried sub trying to quickly locate the most pertinent information for my classroom before students arrive. This flipbook puts only the most vital information at a substitute’s fingertips for quick reference. Subs love it! I hang mine in a prominent location near my desk, so it’s easy to find in case of an unplanned absence.
My third most wishlisted item is actually my editable Back to School Flipbook, full of must-know info for parents and students for the new school year. Since Back to School is a long way away, though, I’ll share my #4 most wishlisted resource instead…
This set of editable Turquoise Dot Teacher Toolbox Labels was actually the very first product I posted on TPT. I created it for my own classroom, and posted it to TPT on a whim. Needless to say, I am SO thankful that I posted it! Since then, I’ve created over a dozen other Teacher Toolbox Label sets, and I change out my own toolbox labels every summer. My toolbox is one of my favorite teacher tools in my classroom, because it keeps all of my office supplies neatly tucked away.
What’s on your wishlist this weekend? I know I will be cleaning out my wishlist on Monday during the TPT Cyber Smile Sale! My store will be 20% off, and don’t forget to use promo code SMILE to save an extra 10% at checkout!
